GETTING SCHOOL NEWS IN THE MIAMI HERALD
The Education News section of Neighbors is open to anyone who wants to send items. All appropriate submissions will be published, but we ask that a few rules be followed:
-
- For honor rolls, only Principal's Honor Rolls can be published. With other news of awards, we ask that you clearly state what the award was for.
- Only one picture can be published per submission. Pictures and text must be sent together ... through e-mail or regular mail. All photos must be clear and sharp, and everyone in the photos must be identified with a first and last name.
- E-mail photos should be JPG format, and text should include identifications. Again, only one photo per e-mail, to schoolnews@MiamiHerald.com
- The School Scene listing of school activities will feature any notices sent, but we again ask that a few rules be followed:
- All news of upcoming meetings or activities must be submitted 10 days before the event is scheduled. Information received later than that will not be published.
- All items should include a time, date and place for the activity. Submissions must be on school letterhead, include an address and phone number, and be signed by a school official, PTA member or booster club member.
- E-mail submissions of meeting notices are welcome, but must include the school address, phone number and the title of the person sending the information.
- The e-mail address for School Scene items is schoolnews@MiamiHerald.com
